“First, food doesn’t have to be at the fanciest restaurant to be amazing. Second, the power of gathering loved ones around food is what makes it amazing.”

About Chef Steve

Wok Theology began the same week our marriage did. We often refer to that time as the “corona kitchen days.” We got married the very same weekend the world shut down due to COVID-19 and spent our quarantine honeymoon testing recipes in our tiny kitchen and dreaming up what a life centered around a love of food could look like.

We both grew up in families that gathered exclusively around food. Big tables, filled with aunts and uncles and cousins and grandparents, overflowing with all our favorite comfort food. Those are the memories we hold fondly of our childhoods, and the memories we’re all about recreating today. Experiences centered around the love of food that will create memories to last a lifetime.
